The 7 Heavenly Virtues

Temperantia, by Luca GiordanoImage via WikipediaThe Seven Heavenly virtues contradict the seven deadly sins..

Earlier, I have blogged each of those sins and now, I will blog about the positive ones.

So what are the Seven Heavenly Virtues composed of?

The seven virtues are a set of seven cardinal virtues recognized in Christian philosophy, especially virtue ethics, and theology.

Cardinal Virtues
The term "cardinal" comes from the Latin cardo or hinge; the cardinal virtues are so called because they are hinges upon which the door of the moral life swings.

Theological Virtues

According the christian philosophy, theological virtues are character qualities associated with salvation. Other than that the following virtues are named because the object of these is the DIVINE BEING.

According to wiki, the & heavenly virtues consists of 4 cardinal virtues and three theological virtues.
