Why blame the government

President George W. Bush and Philippine presid...Image via Wikipedia

Hello dear readers! I was able to come across a site about hate towards the Philippine government, specifically, Madame President Gloria Arroyo.. I don't mean to offend you guys about this and I do respect your opinion towards the government & please respect my point of views as well.

Based on what I can see and read about the hate in our government, all that the activists (I can't think of any alternate word)can call out is the negativity that has happened when GMA sat down. Aren't we not the ones who voted for her back in Edsa 2 & the elections back in 2005 (is this right?)?

Come to think of it, all of those negative issues should not be connected to her directly. I am not a Pro - GMA nor Anti - GMA, I am just worried for my countrymen that if all they do is to rally all the way, how can they sustain their jobs? Ok, you might say that most of them are jobless. Here's the thing, look for a job then. Jobs are very scarce in the country right now but the thing is that this venom is happening all over the world.

"In any government in the whole world, there will be and always will be corrupt officials.."

I know that Filipinos are very smart than ever before & I do applaud them for fighting what they deem is right. Everyone knows for sure that if there is a rally, most of the times, bad things happen. I don't know why they point at the president when things go bad in such occasions. Here's it, when people get rowdy in such occasions, the police, the so called "public defenders", they will be patient as much as possible to maintain the peace. If the crowd goes way over board, they would do such repercussions so that the civilians who are not associated with it will be safe.

Do you think that some of the politicians in our country are not corrupt? The most corrupt flaunt their coveted wealth in public.Even the barangay tanods are coveting from the people that they are suppose to serve! It is sad that instead of helping out with the job crisis, health issues, upgrading infrastructures, and upliftng the education of the Filipino youth, all they think about is ousting GMA. Think about the people first before jumping in to other problems that would not benefit the nation.

Now about the rallies, I was able to talk to one of our household help (back in P.I) and asked her why she was not able to go to work the day I asked her to come. She nonchalantly told me that she went to a rally in Batasan because some one told them that they would be given Php 500 and free food? Unfortunately, she told me that she was not given those material things that were promised to her. I find it ludacris whenver rally leaders or promoters promise this to our less fortunate brothers and sisters. It signifies laziness for me, teaching the false things or encouraging them about bribery.

Venturing in the past, I find Marcos as a great leader. I know for some that people are against him but the infrastructures that were built during his era are timeless.. Yes, He is corrupt but he was able to do things that benefited the nation.

How about idiotic presidents? Oh man, there were 2 presidents that are so stupid that I don't want to say out their names. A disgrace, to the country (the question is why was the first one elected when that candidate does not have any political background?! For the second candidate, do you think he is a good example towards the youth?)!

And one more thing, why are some Filipinos upset when the Philippine Peso value is going up? It is a good sign that the economy is doing well. Why think of it as a negative thing when it is giving a positive outlook?

Before blaming the government, think first of the things that you have done already for the country? Think about this? Were you able to do something to make it a better place to live in? Were you able to contribute something that would benefit your country men?

This will be my first and last blog regarding politics...

xoxo,

very well said, im totally agree with you.At first they hate Prez Marcos and they tried everything to kicked him out(in my point of view its becoz many ambitious political people cannot make a move and cannot have the post unless they kicked the old man).
I dont think there will be Prez in future will be not corrupt. For what i see its just getting worst everytime theres a new elect Prez(its just always worst compare to the previous one).
Whats the new?people always blame the govt for their being "mahirap" but ayaw naman kumilos at magsikap mabago yung buhay nila.
